Just found this gem while also discovering that our very own KPL has it's own YouTube Channel. Pretty sweet! Along with video's of my favorite art teacher ever (8th Grade, South Junior High, Mark Sahlgren) who is also one bad ass musician, I also discovered this little clip. Classic stuff. I love it when celebrities do stuff like this......

Kalamazoo High School Class of 1872

For some reason I find the pictures of these kids interesting. The hair styles and clothes of the era mostly. The graduating class of 1872 was a small group of 11 kids (7 Women, 4 Men). I wonder what they went on to do. Where did they go?

Welcome To Kalamazoo In Pictures! This is my new home on the internet to basically blog pictures of the city I was born, raised, and have lived in my entire life...... Kalamazoo.

I will every now and then post pictures of this great city that are old, or new. Some I will photograph myself. Others will be taken from public archives.
